Nestled in the historical district of Henley-on-Thames, the smoke-free The Relais Henley Hotel is nearly a 25-minute walk from Temple Island. This 4-star hotel is located a few steps from the Thames Path and welcomes its guests to use a sunbathing terrace, a shared lounge, and a golf course or to enjoy British cuisine in the onsite à la carte restaurant.

Location

The hotel lies in Henley-on-Thames, adjacent to a river. The 120-room Victorian neo-Gothic mansion "Friar Park" is a mere 1.1 km from the Relais Henley Henley-on-Thames, while Hart Street bus stop is a mere 150 metres away.

This accommodation is adjacent to banks and is approximately 10 minutes by car from the Warburg Nature Reserve. The nearby landmarks in the area include Jack's Gallery located, around 100 metres away.

Henley on Thames train station is in proximity to the Relais Henley.

Rooms

There are 40 rooms at this Henley-on-Thames hotel, each of them has climate control, as well as entertainment amenities such as an iPod dock and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The rooms include a private bathroom. Offering a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, the bathrooms are fitted with a hairdryer and bath sheets. Guests can enjoy views of the river from The Relais Henley Hotel.

Eat & Drink

High tea is served in the onsite restaurant Clipper. The lounge bar provides you with a place to unwind. It also features a lounge for guests' comfort. You can visit a dessert restaurant situated close by and taste British cuisine.

Leisure & Business

Business travellers will have access to meeting rooms provided on site.

“The property's Thames-side location is undeniably its strongest asset, placing guests directly on the river pathway and within easy reach of Henley's charming shops. While rooms offer character, some may find smaller bathrooms and lack of immediate parking a minor inconvenience. However, its historic charm, pet-friendly approach, and commitment to culinary experiences make it a worthwhile consideration.”

lovely views romantic atmosphere expensive price needed upgrades
the location provided such lovely views over the thames. the grounds and bar contributed to the romantic atmosphere.
The breakfast buffet did not fully meet my expectations considering the price. the bedroom, though nice, did not feel excellent or particularly special. I thought it needed some upgrades.
